THE QUEEN OF TEAHUPO'O

A true wave of emotion swept over the shores of El Salvador last night. At 23 years old, Vahine Fierro achieves her dream: a ticket to wear the French jersey at Teahupo'o in 2024.

A CLEAR GOAL AND UNWAVERING DETERMINATION

After a bitter disappointment three years ago, the time for revenge has come for Vahiné, who becomes the first Tahitian to represent France at this event. The past years have been filled with targeted training with one goal in mind: proudly wearing the blue, white, and red colors of the team next year on her native island.

THE QUEEN OF TEAHUPO'O

This qualification has been eagerly awaited in mainland France and overseas territories since the young surfer undoubtedly reigns over the wave that will host the event next summer. Known in the surfing world as the "Queen of Teahupo'o," Vahiné has made this spot her favorite playground. Conquering one impressive tube after another, she dominates a wave that is known for its danger. Indeed, the Pacific wave crashes onto the Tahitian coral reef, creating waves that can reach up to 15 meters high.

It is a formidable challenge that proves to be a tough task even for the world's best surfers.

ALWAYS SUPPORTED BY ROXY

ROXY, proud sponsor of the French Surf Team, will be by Vahiné's side throughout her preparation and will also be well represented on-site: the two sisters of the young surfer, Heimiti and Kohai Fierro, are both ROXY athletes, and it is highly likely that they will be at the forefront to see their sister represent Tahitian surfing on the world stage.

Surfing is a family affair for ROXY and the Fierro sisters!
