"October marks the start of the monsoon season in Indonesia, bringing a lot of storms and rains, small waves, and crowded lineups.

 
 

The other day we went to Good Times seeking a more secluded location to surf. Imagine: it is drizzling, the waves are small (maybe one of the smallest days?), the waiting period is long, and it's just you and your gang in a lineup.

I remember chatting with a friend when I turned my head and... saw Torren Martyn. It was unbelievable, I couldn't believe my eyes! Dream came true. After a couple of days, my gut feeling told me I got to shoot in the water, and that is exactly how I caught Torren on my camera."
